Survival and Rescue

While the first three parts of this series concentrate on abandoning ship safety, the final part of this series deals with surviving afterwards. Both life on board a raft and a lifeboat are shown in this programme, addressing how to apportion food, seasickness prevention and water collection. It looks at survival detection equipment such as EPIRBS and SART. It concludes with successful location for rescue parties, providing advice on how to be rescued by either ship or helicopter in the most efficient and safe way.
