In 2002 the International Maritime Organization (IMO) adopted the new International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.

With that in mind and in response to client request, Videotel has produced five short video programmes designed to:

  • Raise awareness of security in and around the working environment
  • Provide the viewer with a basic knowledge of specific situations and techniques
  • Support and reflect the guidelines of the ISPS code and security amendments to SOLAS
  • Assist with security planning

This video shows how to be on the lookout for suspicious behaviour, particularly from strangers or visitors, and how to challenge it. It also stresses the importance of reporting and recording which is essential for good security planning.
