As a result of successfully completing this Module you will:

  1. Be aware of the periodicity and general requirements for boiler surveys.
  2. Understand the test procedures that may be required for boiler surveys.
  3. Be familiar with the different types of boiler construction and with how these should be inspected.
  4. Be familiar with the checking of the various safety devices and control systems.
  5. Understand the requirements when any repairs are needed.
