NVOD
NVOD (NETWORKED VOD)
NVOD is a remarkably innovative and modern training delivery system that provides Videotel videos, interactive CBT and courses across your ship’s network.
An NVOD server sits on your ship’s network and is accessed through an NVOD browser on your ship’s computers. From here you can select from any of the training titles in your package and start training. The system allows for multiple users to train at the same time on different subjects, anywhere on board the ship, including a laptop in your cabin. Updates are instant and it also works with OTMplus and webFTA to keep track of training activity and crew records.

RECORD TRAINING EFFICIENCY
All of the training carried out on NVOD is recorded in the OTMplus central database. These training records are held at a single point on the NVOD box, allowing easy back up, import and export to your on shore office.
As administrator, you can view OTMplus training records and schedules on NVOD for all crew
members at any time.

IS NVOD FOR MY SHIP?
NVOD serves high quality sound, video and graphic files to multiple computers so needs to run on a ship’s network. That means only ships with an existing network on board can run NVOD.
We provide an NVOD server box that easily connects to an existing network on board your ship. The NVOD server is then accessed through an NVOD browser on your ship’s computers. NVOD is a smooth and quick service of the most current Videotel training.
