MARITIME TRAINING FORMATS
Our maritime training materials are available in a number of formats to enable you to get the STCW training you require at the point of need. Below is a list of available formats. If you do not see the format you require please contact us.
MARITIME TRAINING VIDEOS
Our videos cover a wide range of STCW related subjects using a mixture of documentary and drama. They are available in PAL and NTSC format as VHS, DVD and VCD. These videos are also available on our VOD and N-VOD marine training delivery systems. Many of our videos are also available as CBT.
MARITIME TRAINING BOOKLETS
Our booklets expand on the video, going deeper into specific details of maritime legislation and protocol. They are ideal for use in group training sessions and include exercises to enable the trainer to test understanding.
MARITIME TRAINING CBT
Videotel offers a range of CBT (computer based training) packages. Some build on our training videos to offer further reference materials and interactive tests, others act as interactive reference materials or low level simulations. Our maritime training courses offer a high level of interaction and often contain assignments and portfolio work. Any CBT tests can be printed or recorded to our training management systems.
All CBT is available as CD-ROM and also on our VOD and N-VOD maritime training delivery systems.
ONLINE TRAINING
Many of our courses are available to take online. This form of training maintains all of the same features as our CD-Rom courses - video, interactive tests, workbook exercises, full audio narration - with the convenience of accessing them at any time, anywhere.
NON-ENGLISH LANGUAGE OPTIONS
Videotel offer a number of titles in languages other than English. You can see these on individual entries in the STCW maritime training catalogue. Further translations can be achieved on agreement. Please contact us for more information.
